I highly recommend Cedarbrook Marketing! They did an excellent job on our projects, and I want to give a special shout-out to David. His communication was outstanding, and his dedication to ensuring everything went smoothly was impressive. He kept us updated at every step and made sure our needs were met. If you’re looking for a reliable marketing partner, Cedarbrook is the way to go! 👍
I’d like to start off by saying, I’m a skeptic in general of whom I trust my money with. Being a financial advisor myself and both having failed and successful businesses, I understand through trial and error where your money is best spent. Marketing is a huge part of that and needs to be allocated wisely. Proper marketing is an essential key component to this. That being said, Working with Cedarbrook has been a game changer for my businesses! They boosted our online presence, and we’ve been seeing a tremendous influx of new clients. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommend Cedarbrook for anyone looking to grow their business! Also I don’t like people in general lol. Especially sales people. This is not a sales experience. It’s an amazing partnership. I personally have had the pleasure of working with David directly and DJ is the absolute man. Everyone is helpful but those guys are above and beyond. I don’t typically recommend these sorts of things, but my ROI was more than worth it. Good luck fellow entrepreneurs! Keep grinding 🫡
Kale Design has been in business since 1982 helping companies with graphic design, web design, trade show display design, packaging design, online digital, marketing, advertising, and marketing, With my absolute luck, I met David Reistad! And it is from that first lunch, that he so graciously treated me to, I realized him as one of the most genuine, wise, creative and gifted individuals I’ve ever met. One of his first introductory comments he made to me was, “Our success comes from our client’s success!” And, “I make sure I take care of my team and give them all the support they need to achieve their success in my company.“ That synced with my same sensibilities. I’ve always led our business with a concept of delivering the highest possible quality at levels of investment that are good for our clients. I thought that I had the right mix of vendors, however when I had an opportunity of working with David for the first time, I knew I could depend and rely upon him to meet all of our client’s needs including top notch printing and state-of-the-art direct mail campaigns including EDDM Mailing and fulfillment, Advanced QR heat mapping, website retarding, and new homeowner targeted mailings. When it comes to online digital and social media marketing, now I am able to give my customers Cedarbrook Marketing snd Kale Design's very best at less than market value pricing. I recommend that you get to know David as I do. He has become an asset to our company, strong business partner and amazing friend. David, thank you for all that you have done for me. I’m looking forward to doing many great things with you!
This business consistently delivers quality service promptly. David, the owner, is professional, competent, and highly accommodating. It’s truly a pleasure working with him and his awesome team.
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Let me break down the terrible experience we had with this so-called "marketing" company (sigh): 1. **Missed Deadlines:** We placed a time-sensitive order with them, and they promised a delivery timeframe of 4-6 business days, but it was more like 8 to 10 days which they brushed off as “behind schedule by a day or so". I guess if you're used to missing deadlines it's not a big deal, but we'd told them when we first called about their service that we had a very time sensitive job that required coordination with another printer. They definitely understood this when they accepted our business. In fact, we asked at the time if they offered "rush delivery" we could pay for -- they didn't, but assured us it was unnecessary given their normal turnaround. They even told us to expect it even faster than 4 - 6 days because they were that confident in their services. 2. **Blame-Shifting:** So when we sailed past our deadline, instead of taking responsibility, they blamed us for not submitting the job earlier. Yeah but we literally told them at the time we ordered what our time frame was, and they accepted the order. If they weren't able to provide the service, they shouldn't have taken our money. It's not our fault they misrepresented their service. 3. **Shipping Fiasco:** So the plan was for them to send this print job to a bigger printer to be included as an insert for a community paper that was publishing its monthly edition. But when they missed the deadline, the papers had to go forward without the insert, right? So we emailed them to cancel the job. When they finally got back to us, they'd told us they'd printed the inserts already and shipped them to the printer (about 2 hours drive). Oh no! They told us they would immediately re-route them to us directly. So we agreed to pay half-price, in the interest of saving this botched job (and we figured out a way we might still make use of them as flyers before the info was expired). But again no! When the shipment failed to arrive, we called them to learn that after they calculated it'd be $120 bucks to re-route to us, they'd decided it was too much. Instead, we had to wait for them to show up at the printers and have them shipped to us at our expense. Not only did this cost $$ but also time -- when we finally got the flyers, their info was expired and they were useless. (PS they didn't even include us on the tracking or anything so it was literally days of wondering what was going on). 4. **Poor Communication:** I can't stress enough how bad these folks are at every part of customer service. They lie, they gaslight. They've been nagging us about this review. It's almost like their reputation matters to them more than doing a good job. 5. **Lip Service** At first they offered a full refund for the botched job, but then their CEO took it back, telling us “we believe it's crucial to consider all factors at play” (??). To their credit, they did refund us half our money when they agreed to reroute the materials -- then screwed us royally on the shipping. In over a decade in the community publishing industry, this has easily been our worst vendor experience. Save yourself the headache and steer clear. Don't make the same mistake we did by trusting them with your business.
