Call to cancel my subscription, got an answering machine. Waited awhile and no call back. Called again and a nice young lady picked up. She told me she would cancel my subscription and make certain the billing did not hit next cycle. But I must have an “exit call.” I said ok. At no point was I told it was reliant on video chat enable. I WORK ON THE ROAD. Conveniently, the next closest time available for “the exit call” was two days after my next cycle. Hearing that, I asked “am I still going to be charged? Im telling you now Im canceling” I was informed the billing would stop immediately and I could just take the call on the 26th. So here we are, I have been charged once more and they are REFUSING to cancel and credit me back for the charge they took from me after the call. They acknowledged the call was recorded, they acknowledged after fighting with me that they could “close my account without a credit” right over the phone. Yet they refuse to do it citing “policy”. Acknowledged he could help me but flat out refuses unless i get on a video chat after drafting an unauthorized charge. Beware of any company that doesn’t let you control the billing on the online platform. Terrible service.
