In February 2023 I ask James to contact me to give my website a makeover. I never heard back from him. In July of 2023 I again personally ask him to contact me as I had been waiting 5 months at that point. He told me someone would contact me the following week. It's now February 2024 and still nothing. Therefore, I hired another company to assist me with my project. I highly suggest you look at other companies for your digital needs. Response to Owners comments. There was not any miscommunication, I showed you the three different websites we want makeovers on, one was Electronic Resource Associates that we wanted not only a make over but SEO work in addition. During my second attempt to become a customer, I again explained the scope of the projects and you assured me that someone would contact the following week. So the only communication issue was your failure to do what you agreed to do. Companies should not be required to remind you to contact us, most companies would have handled the request from a potential customer the first time they received the sales inquiry.

We hired SMI to work with us on two projects. To help us clean up the backend of one of our websites and also to create ads on social media accounts to drive traffic. I don't enjoy writing less than 5-star reviews but I believe it's important to also share our experience so that others can make better informed decisions. For the website clean up project, we worked with Simon. He is defiantly the bright spot in our experience. Our website had a lot more clean up to do than we organically thought but he adjusted our expectations accordingly. While we have not seen tangible results yet for all the work he did, I know that the work was needed and we are hopeful that we will see some positive results in the near future. In terms of the social media advertising part, it was not fruitful in anyway. Ads were not done properly, communication was poor and we felt we had to be very proactive as SMI was not proactive in their communication to us. They may be working through kinks on their end and others may have a good experience with them but for us, we did not feel they offered the value they promised and except for our work with Simon, they didn't seem to exhibit the care or integrity to make things right.

I'm a firm believer in giving recognition when it's due and it is due here! We have been working with Cody Ermatinger, Stacy Skreen, and James Piccolo. James is our account manager and he has gone above and beyond each time I have meet with him. He is patient while also teaching me a ton. It's difficult to understand analytics etc. so when you have a person that really goes the extra mile to help you understand it really means a lot. We have worked with several different companies and none of them have operated at this level. Strategic Marketing Inc. does a great job of getting your business where you want it to be while also keeping it user friendly. I highly recommend this company!
